White House Bowling League
So I didn't get to go to the Presidential Inauguration (yep still mad about that), but I took some amazing photos in a ball gown and as a consolation prize I got to join the White House Bowling League....for a few hours.
Fun fact: Technically there is more than one "White House Bowling Alley" The one we bowled in is actually in the EEOB (Eisenhower Executive Office Building) which is located next door to the actual White House and is open for use by the White House bowling league which formed a league under the Truman administration. There is a one lane bowling alley (the Truman alley has two lanes) in the basement of the actual White House, which was built by the Nixons who were big bowlers. I can now say I've bowled in the same alley is Richard Nixon...that's an accomplishment right?!? What did you do over the weekend?
The question is were Nixon or you any good at bowling?!?!? LOL
ReplyDeleteJK, looks like a lot of fun!
